Om Sathguru Shri Seshadri Swamigal Thiruvadikkae

Better offer your service to the guru who is living flesh and blood, than to the stone icon or a framed picture of some deity.”

The Chandogyopanishad lays down that a spiritual aspirant must approach a self-realized guru in a proper manner.

Sri Ramalinga Swamigal did not notice what had gone wrong. As usual he refilled the lamp, but this time with water! And what a wonder, – the lamp continued to burn throughout the night!

The next day, when the Reddiar returned, he noticed that the vessel containing the oil was full and was filled with wondrous surprise! The Swamigal himself was astounded, and realized that the Lord Himself had transformed the water into oil to make His Bhakta’s belief true!

IF WE DEVOUTLY PRAY TO THE LORD, HE WOULD COME RUSHING TO OUR SUCCOUR, (LEAVING EVERYTHING) JUST AS SOMEONE WOULD COME TO US, WHEN WE BECKON THEM.
