Om Sathguru Shri Seshadri Swamigal Thiruvadikkae
Sri Ramalinga Swamigal used to reside in Vadalur (Neyveli, Tamil Nadu) in a Reddiar’s house. Perenially, a lamp used to remain lit, in the room in which the Swamigal stayed. The oil for the lamp was stored in the same room. One day the Reddiar, had to leave the village for a short tenure. He had given instructions to his son to place a vessel full of water for the Swamigal’s ablutions and refill the vessel meant for oil. The boy, a little confused, filled water in the oil container, and oil in the vessel meant for water!
Sri Ramalinga Swamigal did not notice what had gone wrong. As usual he refilled the lamp, but this time with water! And what a wonder, – the lamp continued to burn throughout the night!
The next day, when the Reddiar returned, he noticed that the vessel containing the oil was full and was filled with wondrous surprise! The Swamigal himself was astounded, and realized that the Lord Himself had transformed the water into oil to make His Bhakta’s belief true!
IF WE DEVOUTLY PRAY TO THE LORD, HE WOULD COME RUSHING TO OUR SUCCOUR, (LEAVING EVERYTHING) JUST AS SOMEONE WOULD COME TO US, WHEN WE BECKON THEM.
